I got to use the knife, it comes with some cord, so you can neck carry it. I just pocket dropped mine, I plan to make a leather sheath for it. One thing to mention, I had to heat up the sheath it came with to close up the tabs a little. It was a little loose. Nothing bad.
It came sharp and ready to use, and that's how I used it. I cut a few boxes up, and used it around the yard with some pruning. I made a tent peg while doing that, just to see how it would do.

It worked well for that, along with a feather stick. It will need a 90 degree mod on the spine in order to strike a ferro rod though. It was also a good throwing knife, even if only to test its durability, it did well even though it's not a throwing knife.

After using it, and doing some durability testing, it did well. I did run it across my stones and ceramic rod after testing it. The misses at the beginning of throwing it did dull the edge. No chips or bends, just wasn't sharp enough to cut paper well.
Conclusion I think it's a great knife for the price. I will keep it in my backpack, it will be nice to have at camp. Mine will get the spine mod.

I've purchased a few of these for various uses; get home bags, gifts, to put in the cars or camper. They are not one of those $100 knives, but they get the job done for a fraction of the price.

Great weight to it for some heavy duty jobs. Nice handle and grip with placement for fingers for no slip. Can be holster to belt or backpack and will be a great companion for our camping trips.

For the money, this knife s. The best part for me is the dual position sheath. Hold the knife well, good features, not a high end unit... not a high end price. I have the Gerber, it's allot more money for a lots better quality... but this is my everyday carry.. balanced well.. looks great!

Knife itself is good. Well balanced, sturdy, feels good in the hand.

The holster is good, but the nylon attachment for the belt looks cheap and kills the asthetic. The vertical belt holder is useless for me because my edc gun makes it impossible to position for dominant arm use.

I tried an aftermarket clip on that worked, but it rode too high on the waist using the screwholes on the back, also the plastic screw holes got stripped fairly quickly and wont hold the provided screws anymore.

First of all great presentation, although a bit wasteful. Knife is sharp, and strong. Handle is comfortable and doesn't slip in your hand, even wet. Good size for most tasks, not to bulky, allows for easier handling. Ferro rod works great. When you push the knife into the sheath, and it stops it does rattle a little bit, but if you push a little further the knife goes into the sheath properly and sit quietly with no rattle. Just gotta push past the first stop. Overall great buy, would definitely recommend.

Love this knife. Great quality. Great grip on the handle, thick blade , durable sheathe and blade, love the feel of it, as well as the sheathe and the set up of the Ferro rod built into it. Great idea putting the rod in the sheathe. Best fixed blade and sheathe I've bought and for the price, you absolutely cannot beat it. Will definitely be shopping with this company again. Already have a second just to have and it's still in the box.

Knife seems a good quality. Very similar to Gerber Strongarm in design. Nice choil on the blade. Sheath had some good mounting options but has a lighter (maybe cheaper) feel to it.
All that being said, it's a Strongarm-inspired design at 1/2 the price.

This knife/fire starter jet has a very nice full tank. DC53 blade fixed hunting style knife with a kayak sheet. Very good quality and adjustable straps is quite modular. Also has a ferro rod included with a spot to sew it so you’ll never worry about losing it. It’ll always be with the knife really really good quality comfortable in the hand great rib highly recommend.

Razor sharp and integrated grippy handle. Excellent hard plastic sheath with easy to use fire starter. Nice stays in place even without nylon snap around handle, but it’s even extra secure with it. Perfect size and nice balance and blade holds an edge very well. I used it several hours in the last 2 days doing some work around my house. You won’t regret buying it. The fire starter really really puts out a spark!!!

Shipping took awhile but thays to be expected from overseas companies. Other then that I'm very impressed with the product. Heavy, beefy, sharp, and great looking. Just how I like my fixed blades. Might order from you again if I see something that catches my eye.
