This is a very comfortable knife to use and hold. The D2 steel used for the blade is somewhat more rust resistant than some other similarly tough steels but do be aware that it is not completely stainless and will need to be regularly cleaned and oiled so that it remains rust free. Due to the hardness of this steel, it will take longer to sharpen than budget blades, but that also means it is also more prone to chipping if used too aggressively.

Straight out of the box the knife opens smoothly and is easy to manipulate one-handed with the flipper tab on the spine or by actuating the button near the flipper tab and flicking out the blade. Note that this knife does not have a thumb stud and there is *no* spring assist opening feature. The pocket clip is reversible and is 2-inches long and has just the right amount of tension for it to easily clip to my Carhartt pants pocket, but I am not worried about it falling out.

In the open position this knife is just over 7-inches long, and the blade is just shy of 3-inches long and it has a touch of gimping on the base of the spine. The spine of the blade is 3mm thick, and when in the closed position, the knife is 4.25-inches long and 1.3-inches wide out to the end of the flipper tab. The weight of this knife is comfortable without much heft at 3.5-ounces.

The affixed titanium skeletonized handle scales have a good thickness and are very comfortable, and they have a good amount of texturing without being too aggressive or slick and look amazing. When folded, the knife is on the thick side at 1.1-inches thick, not including the pocket clip.

The attention to detail on the tolerances for this knife is very good at this price point. When you close the knife, there is barely enough room to slide in a fingernail between the handle and the spine of the blade. This knife is equipped with a push button lock mechanism similar in design to many Schrade and Benchmade knives. Schrade calls it the Pivot lock, and Benchmade calls it the Axis Lock. I have never had any issues with this type of locking mechanism.

Despite my praises of this knife, there are a few nitpicks I have about this knife considering it is around thirty-five dollars.

- Although it has a flick button and flipper tab for easy opening, there is no thumb stud, and I prefer the option of being able to open the blade with my thumb.

- The pocket clip is retained by only one screw instead of two or three, which are usually found on knives in this price tier. One screw means there's more torque pressures on the clip in just one spot, which could lead to stripping of the screw.

- I discovered that there wasn't any thread locker on the retaining screws when I went to reverse the pocket clip, so I then checked all the remaining retaining screws, and none had thread locker applied. On a thirty-five dollar knife it really should come with thread locker applied to all the screws, so it would be advisable to remove all six of the screws on this knife and apply some Loctite so that they don't make their way out over time.

- The pocket clip is mounted for a tip-up carry orientation, and that cannot be changed.

Despite my nitpicks, it is a very nice knife at thirty-five dollars, and one that I will happily put into my EDC rotation. If you decide to order it, just make sure that those screws cannot loosen out on their own.

I keep this knife in my truck and it works great. I can use it for cutting cardboard, rope etc. the knife is lightweight and super sharp out of the box. Overall, I would recommend this knife for its sharpness and looks.

This knife feels good in your hand, it is not too heavy and not too light. Includes a belt clip that seems to work well. It didn't feel super sharp out of the box and I haven't tried to sharpen it yet, but no reason to think it couldn't be touched up a little. I would have preferred a thumb opening to finger, but just something to get use to. The knife flips open easily. It comes in a hard titanium case that is a nice touch as I tend to save my knife boxes. I don't think it is going to replace your $200 Benchmark EDC, but this is nice pocket knife and would make a nice gift for someone.

This knife comes with a foam padded carrying case and a small cloth for wiping it. The case is a little too large for the knife, I probably won't use it, but it's good if you're packing a lot of gear and want to find the knife easily and keep it protected. There are really only two ways to open the knife, one by just pulling the blade out with your hand, and the other is using the back flip. If you give it a little wrist action while you're opening the blade with the back flip it will pop out all the way. The other button that is also supposed to open it in the page description really doesn't do much, it's more for locking the blade in place when open - but how many ways do you need to open a knife? The blade is extremely sharp, and strong. It also has a clip for hooking it onto your clothes or bags.

This lightweight folding knife is great for camping, hiking, traveling, or even safety. It easily folds and unfolds, and has a safety button that you must press to close it. It comes in a sturdy titanium box for safekeeping. It is pretty sharp, but won't cut you to the touch. Overall, a great multipurpose knife at a reasonable price.

This folding knife is compact yet very sharp. It is heavy duty and well constructed.

I feel like I over-use "feels good in your hand," but sometimes it just does, you know?
Like it feels solid. The click it makes when it is unfolded and folded is satisfying. I wish it had an assisted open, but even without that, it's a great little knife, and it's rather sharp. Lovely new addition to my daily carry.

This is an EDC sort of knife with a really solid lock and a solid build with tight tolerances. No wiggle at all in the blade in any position. The frame is metal with some titanium titanium sort of bumps on the outside. The action wasn't very fluid, but a little graphite and screw tensioning fixed that up. I feel like I could really put some weight on the blade and handle -- it's sturdy.

The padded titanium container it came in made it feel premium, complete with a cleaning cloth and a clever knife-shaped feedback card. The bolt button release is pretty cool. As with any D2, keep it dry and use oil once in a while.

This is a nice knife, it feels very robust and secure. The opening feels very smooth and it locks very securely. The grip feels nice in the hand and makes the knife feel solid in the palm. The blade arrived fairly sharp, more than enough for my needs. Overall the build quality is higher than I would have expected and the cutouts keep the weight down. This will be a great addition to my collection of knives for the outdoors, or to keep in the car. It even came in a hard case.

This company makes several different knives that they advertise as "every day carry (EDC)", but most of them are too heavy and bulky for me to actually carry every day. I like this compact knife that is actually small and lightweight enough to carry around in my pants pocket, but is sturdy enough and opens big enough for useful work. The blade is thicker and sturdier and more useful than "Swiss Army" knives. I blade opens easily and locks into place for safety; push the button to unlock and close the blade. The fiberglass handle is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to grip. $25 price is very reasonable for what you get. 5 stars.

I was LOVING this knife when I first got it. I had it laying on my desk so I used it for all of the normal things during the day that I normal pull my EDC out of my pocket for. This knife is much lighter and a bit smaller than my EDC but I was looking for something to replace it because it has some sentimental value and I'd rather not carry it all the time. I thought this knife was going to be the replacement BUT when I finally went to clip it into my pocket the one and only flaw I've found popped up.

The clip on the knife is over a very rough textured area on the knife. That makes it super hard to slide the knife in and out of my pocket and it literally feels like that area on my pants pocket where the clip slides on would be destroyed within a week of daily use.

If you just keep the knife in your pocket or somewhere else and don't actually use the clip then I can't recommend the knife enough. Easy to flip out and quick return to close by pushing a button. It also seems to hold an edge pretty well so far.

Watch the video from the product listing for a good demonstration. The knife really is that sharp and that easy to open & close with one hand! You'll also see the sturdy carrying case that the knife comes in. I don't know why it's needed, since the knife would usually be in my pocket. But it a very nice, sturdy, padded case. Maybe I'll find other uses for that.

The knife feels good in my hand. It's slightly heavier than another knife I have, but should be a great EDC for you.

This is a nice knife I'm usually skeptical from any knife maker I don't know but wow! I'm amazed by how much I like this knife. It's light weight has deep pocket clip and came with a razor sharp edge. The material of the blade Is D2 steel which is a good steel for blades and the handle has groves for good grip. Not to mention the one handed close and open features. And a deep pocket clip on the side! Pretty nice knife will be my edc for a while for sure!

Summary: I think this is a solid buy! If you like the look of it, it's fine. It doesn't blow everything else out of the water, but it holds its own.

Pricing Opinion: At time of receipt, it was priced at 35 USD. That seems reasonable for the quality of the product. I've seen slightly better for 40 USD, but honestly to me that's a wash.

~Gendered which is fine but might annoy some recipients: 1) The external label says in chinese that this is a must have knife for men. 2) Internal packaging says it's a gift for men. I didn't mind, but if you give it to your daughter and she's young and impressionable and you don't want her to think knives aren't girly enough just take the little card out.
~I'm paranoid and somehow the knob that locks the blade into position doesn't seem totally secure to me. I'm also an idiot who has nearly cut off my own fingers when I was like 8, so. We all have our biases, yeah?

Disclaimer

The Wildlance pocket knife came in a nice Pelican-like titanium case, which was very unexpected but pleasant. The case can hold a few knives, has foam to hold the contents in place, and protected the knife in transit. I'll use the case for other purposes, like transporting smaller magazines, but suffice to say it added a lot to my satisfaction with the knife.

The knife feels sturdy, came very sharp, and if it is truly D2 steel, it should be great as an EDC knife. The handle of the knife has very aggressive scaling, and coupled with a tight clip, tugging it free from your pocket feels like it will tear your pants. The aggressive scaling ensures that your hands won't slip off when you're using the knife, like when I was cutting a hole in the side of a titanium motor oil container. For everyday use, I started just placing it in my pocket instead of using the clip, to prevent wear and tear on y pants. Overall, this knife works well as a utility knife, especially in wet or slippery conditions, and because it is D2 steel, it shouldn't need frequent sharpening. I gave the Wildlance pocket knife 5 stars.

Good sturdy starter knife. If you are looking for a knife to carry in your pocket you have found it. It shipped to me with a nice sharpness to the blade and I like the carrying case that came with it if you want to have it in your truck or what not. The knife itself is a comfortable size for you pocket not bulky but not tiny

The Wildlance pocket knife is a handy size and shape for the many uses that a knife like this has. The knife blade is about 3", while the overall size of the knife is about 7.25". When folded it fits into a pocket very handily. It has a hole for attaching a key or a carrier to it . It also has several cut-outs to help make it lighter. The blade is sharp and up to the tasks it will have. It also comes in a case that would make it a very presentable gift.

I have several Wildlance knifes. This is just as great as my other ones. Very simple and effective knife. It sits in the pocket nice and I barely notice I am carrying it due to how light weight it is. Good quality and balance for the price.

I love Wildlance knives. This one is made well, and is of the quality I have come to expect from Wildlance. However, this one's very rough texture is chewing up my pants pockets. So if you aren't going to use the clip, this is a great knife! Otherwise, I'd recommend one of the other Wildlance knives they make.

I like this knife! It appears to be well made, and holds an edge at least as well as many of the other knives in my collection of pocket knives. The skeletonized handle helps reduce the weight of the knife. Plus, it's not too bulky in my pocket, which is a bonus.

After using this knife on a variety of applications for the past couple months, I'm still impressed at just how sharp it is. It's a good looking, nice weight knife that features a solid grip and easy to switch blade. Like I said, after a couple of months, I remain impressed and use it regulary.
