Decent knife, seems to have gone up a little in price since I got mine a couple months ago.
I have several knives, but I'm definitely not an expert. I tend to get knives for utilitarian purposes, as most people do, so I have no interest in collecting them.
The shape of the blade is unique to me, as I often get knives with a more traditional clip point or drop point. But I wanted to mix things up so I got this one. I can't say that I have found any advantage to this blade shape, but it is functional. After using it as a fidget toy for awhile, it now flips open smoothly. Originally it was a bit stiff. The frame lock bar to release the blade is pretty smooth. There's gimping on the spine that's not real aggressive, but functional. The blade is Stainless Steel, which I never had an issue with, and retains its sharpness pretty well.
As much as I like the handle, the texture is a bit aggressive. The knife often hangs up on my pocket when trying to remove it. It's not overly aggressive, and is relatively comfortable in hand, but I'm just noting that it can be annoying getting it out of a pocket. Since it's a tip up carry, I reversed the clip since I carry in my left pocket. I want the blade to the outside in case it opens in my pocket, and I don't poke myself. It's happened in the past, so it can happen.
Overall I'm happy with this knife. Given that it really doesn't offer anything that my other knives don't, I don't carry it every day. I do carry it often though and have used it a lot. I like it though and will continue to get plenty of use out of it, but I don't personally see the advantage of this blade shape. Maybe others who are more knowledgeable about knives may have a different opinion.

Well now that I finally got the knife, it's nice. I think the sale price or somewhere close is what it should run for. The action and blade are ok....the only thing is the frame lock bar...I personally think more meat should be on the button for ease of press. I have bigger thumbs and when you press it, it feels almost flush so you press the frame too. Again a little taller and I think it would be perfect.

Solidly built, it holds an edge pretty well for normal every day use. It has good heft and fine balance with acceptably textured sides for a firm grip. The one thing I really find problematic is the lock release. It is placed awkwardly and is NOT intuitive in the least. While the knife overall is good EDC piece, the gimmicky case is almost an embarrassment in badness.

I like Wildlance. I have a couple other products from them - a multitool edc and a craft knife.

While I do like this knife a lot, there is one disappointment: it is slow and floppy when opening. What I mean by that is that it doesn’t really flick to an open position quickly or with any authority. So unless you flick it hard, it’s going to be underwhelming. After trying it quite a few times, I found that it loosened up a little, but not enough.

Other than that, I’m happy with this. It has a really nice dimpled texture that makes it feel like its powdercoated… a great texture to make it feel grippy when that grip is important. Has a nice tight clip too. The edge is kinda cool as well and unique, as I mention in my unboxing video. It could definitely use some sharpening though out of the box. Comes with a cleaning cloth and a nice little hardshell case.

Because of the knife, like the opening action, I’m a little underwhelmed. It’s still a good knife and I hope that the poor action of my knife is the exception (I’d imagine that is the case). I give this 3.5 stars, which rounds up to 4.

This knife is very study and feels like it could take a beating. It folds in and out very smoothly and locks into place well with no play. The frame lock bar works well and is easy to push. I’m happy with this purchase.

I totally recommend this knife to anyone looking for a sub 3” EDC Knife with excellent materials & value. A lot of ppl will say this is a knock Off To the mini Praxis but imo it’s made even better. The Lock up is super solid & the Heat treat on the Stainless Steel is in the sweet spot. It will be extremely hard to find these materials Anywhere else put together for this price!! Total win!!

I love this knife it’s well constructed and seems to have a very good heat treat of the Stainless Steel steel. I have not been kind to it cutting aggressively and was impressed it held the factory edge very well. The frame lock and flipper makes it a fidget friendly blade. Bearings make it glide open and close, and it has a very solid G10 and steel handle structure. For the price point it’s a fantastic budget blade option.

The Wildlance frame lock is a terrific piece to EDC being compact yet easy to carry and use. The blade has a good sized choil that allows a full handed grip and the fit/finish is top quality. The scales are lined which makes for a solid build. The rear flipper is nicely weighted with the frame lock nicely accessible which provides quick/easy full closure along with an alternative deployment. Overall I am very impressed with the design/build and recommend it, well done WildlanceO!
