What I love about this $40 Wildlance titanium knife (Amazon ASIN B003N5KTF0) is how well balanced it feels in my hand when I hold it. I weighed it on my scale to be about 110 grams (just under four ounces) and it measures at about 4-1/2 inches long when set to be folded up in my pocket. I measured it at about 7-1/2 inches long when extended. I like that it has three bolts holding it together so you can take it apart if you need to clean it or lubricate it. It's also nice that it has a pocket clip (like the type that are on pens) so you can clip it to your belt or upper leg pants pocket (although I would never do that myself). There are two separate bolts for the clip if you want to remove it, which is a nice touch. And there is another bolt to remove just the locking assembly, if you need to clean it out or unjam it.The Amazon listing claims the knife blade is "D2 Steel" which is typical steel for knife blades providing for optimal wear resistance and edge retention. It's a high carbon high chromium steel with a bit of Molybdenum, Vanadium and small amounts of silicon, manganese, phosphorus & sulfur. Bear in mind while D2 steel is a common knife blade steel, it is hard to sharpen and it can be prone to chipping and staining as it's not truly stainless steel (so you will need to take good care of this knife).As you can see from the attached photos, the knife blade is stamped with "PK-01" which might mean "pocket knife number one" which the Amazon listing says is the model number for this Wildlance brand pocket knife (where they also sell a PK-02 model which looks slightly different - such as a non-textured handle). This textured-handle PK-01 knife is a great pocket knife and well made, and good value for the money since it should last you a lifetime of use. I found the frame lock worked well so I was never worried that it would open accidentally without me wanting to open it. It's just the right size for an everyday carry (EDC) pocket knife.
The knife came out of the box shaving sharp. Opening was a little stiff at first, but that's the generally case with almost any knife or multitool, until you've opened and closed it enough to give it a little break-in to smooth things out. It's now much smoother than it was straight out of the box. The detent that holds the blade closed is rather strong, which is good because it should prevent accidental opening. The grind is very even, and the blade is centered between the handles.The handless are very refined feeling and have smooth edges. I find the pocket clip to have a bit too much tension, which is good because it will hold fast to your pocket, but this could result in premature wear and tear on your pocket.Overall, this is an excellent knife for the price. It's not overly large, is decently light, it's well-made of quality materials, and it looks good. There's not much more you can really ask for.

This is a solid knife with a good design and safe lock. I couldn't tell what steel it is. Mine wasn't stamped. That probably translates to "meh." Definitely don't use this knife if your arm is caught between a rock and a cliff. But otherwise, it does fine.
I received this 3.3” D2 steel pocket knife and it’s become a regular companion for my daily tasks. The titanium handle feels solid in my hand, and the frame lock keeps the blade steady when I’m using it. I do like this Knife but I could see getting something like this for the $20 range. The movement isn't super smooth, which is fine but for that price I would expect perfection. It was quite sharp and has a nice heft to it. I do like the look and the feel.
My knife came in the mail and I can finally confirm that the fit and finish is there. I did feel a little bit resistance against the ball bearings on the pivot so I added a little bit of pivot lube and it smoothed it out. I’m not really sure what elves they are using in the factory to get titanium and D2 at this level of price with good manufacturing, but it is impressive.
It is nice looking but more purple than blue. I gave it 4 stars because the pocket clip is very tight. It is also pretty stiff to open. But it is snug and doesn’t have any slop in the open or close positions.

Well made foldable pocket knife that comes in a plastic case with a clasp to open and close it and some type of material on the top and bottle(that comes out) that is soft to lay the knife on. The knife itself is nice and the design on it is also really nice. You will definitely want to sharpen it to get the maximum use out of it but other than that It's a great knife.
Wildlance I feel is a brand that just seems to make great reliable products. I have EDC since I got it in the beginning of June. I wanted to test it before writing a review with carrying it two days. Its been over a month and still is my EDC. The blade is a unique shape but it operates very well. I have had zero issues with it opening when I do not want it to. I have had zero issues with it not locking in place. This has been a perfect knife. It has kept it edge while opening packages, cutting cardboard tape from here, all other tasks you use a edc knife for, etc. I have been very impressed with the weight and durability of this knife. I barely feel it when I am carrying it. The clip is secure and even in basketball shorts I have had no issues. Awesome knife and I recommend it.
I got this knife because I needed another folder, but I wanted something made of a higher-quality steel than I had, and this new one is great! It really surprised me with how well made and durable it is. It not only looks beautiful but is very well-balanced and machined, and it holds an edge tremendously well. The blade sits nice and symmetrically centered when locked and opened and the frame lock works flawlessly. They executed the design and manufacturing of this blade extremely well. I am truly impressed with the performance, looks, and value of this knife and I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a high-quality folder that is both gorgeous and practical for day-to-day usage.
This knife works well and is pretty sharp out of the box. I used it to cut a few sheets of paper and some plastic zip ties before using it to break down several dozen cardboard boxes. After that, it still retained a clean edge.
The knife comes in a quality case to protect it in shipping you being packed into your camping gear. The handle appears to be metal and is textured. It fits well in my hand and I didn't lose my grip while handling as is often the case with smoother handled knives.
It unfolds very smoothly with both a stud for your thumb or a ridge for your index finger. The locking mechanism seems sturdy but the release took a bit to get used to. It was a little stiff at first and the heavy blade wanted to close a little faster than I'd like when released. After a time or two, I knew what to expect and don't really see an issue with it.
The knife is a bit on the larger size for my tastes, so I don't think it would be my EDC. It's also a bit heavy at just over 6 oz. (172 g) and weighs down my pocket more than I'd prefer. The pocket clip is also a bit tight so it takes two hands to clip it on your pants -- but I'm sure that will loosen up a bit after some use. Also, I do like the shape of the blade. It's not exactly a Wharncliffe blade but it's close.
I plan to keep the knife and add it to my hunting or camping gear. Seems durable enough for the cost -- even if it's not a light or elegant as some of my other knives. If you like a slightly bigger/heavier knife (I know plenty of guys who do)
It's easy to deploy and stow the blade. It comes quite sharp, and it has a good heft to it.
I like the smooth deployment of the blade, and the blade tang that flips it open easily.

I picked this up as I needed a better knife for everyday carry, and this one is great. It opens easily, the blade lock is good, it's nice and sharp, and with the frame lock release, it's easy to close. The only complaints I have are pretty much just personal peeves: it has mild assistance when opening, which can be seen if you let it simply fall closed and it won't close. This, along with there being no blade lock when the knife is closed, make me a little less comfortable with carrying it. However, everything else about the knife is great.
I like how easy it is to open and close. It also has the safety lock to keep the blade open and when you are ready, you can close the blade using the frame lock. The blade comes sharpened, and it is a little larger than. I would like for a pocket knife so I'm using it for my camping knife instead.
This is not your high end folding knife that costs a multiple of what this costs. I think everyone should have one of those but what about all the other uses? I keep folding knives like these around the house, in my cars emergency kits and the like. I have unfortunately purchased some inexpensive knives and had the blade snap off of the handle. I have already put this one through a couple of paces to see if the blade will stay fixed to the handle and was pleasantly surprised at how durable it is. This is a pretty good mid grade, all around, utilitarian knife that will take some abuse. I really like the locking mechanism as I have had some that are a pain. No - slide the blade to the side and then push it down, praying you don't slice a finger. One finger safety operation switch and it's unlocked. This is the knife that I target when I am putting together an emergency kit, a car kit or need one for work around the house and don't want to risk punishing my expensive high end knife. To me, for what this is (a wallet friendly mid grade knife) it's worth the money.
Pocket knife is pretty good quality at a fair price. The blade came reasonably sharp, a few passes through my sharpener and then it was really ready to go. The blade steel seems high quality, the handle grip is nice and fits well in my larger hand. Though the blade isn't huge, this is not a small knife overall. My biggest gripe about the knife is that the blade doesn't lock open if you open it "slow". If you open it slow or by hand, the little lock lever doesn't seem to automatically engage. But if you flip it open with some speed, it will lock every time. Seems like there's not enough tension on the lock lever. Not a big deal, but concerning that the blade may not always be locked when you expect it to be. The knife came in a nice pelican style padded box. I'll definitely save the box to use for something else. Finally, my knife came wrapped in a plastic bag and was covered in machine oil. I had to wash it off with dish soap first thing and then relube the hinge. Given everything mentioned above, I'd probably just recommend getting a different knife. But once I got things sorted out, it's a good quality knife.

The Wildlance Pocket Knife is my new EDC tool. The knife is easy and fast to open with one hand, so it's convenient for all my opening/cutting requirements. The knife is well balanced and feels secure during use.

I got this for my husband for father's day and I couldn't be happier. It arrived in a nice box, really protected and right out of the box it's really sharp.
One thing to note is that it requires a small amount of oil which is normal so make sure you clean it off before gifting or start using to prevent it from slipping from your hand.
The only downside is that I would prefer if it required a bit more force to open it but it's probably adjustable.
This is a strong but slightly heavy folding knife, perhaps a little heavy for edc but great for camping or as a work or gardening tool. The blade is strong and very sharp with a drop point/tanto profile, perfect for stabbing and slicing foods, wood, wiring or opening packages. It easily flips open two different ways and stays open solidly till you release it with the frame lock. The handle is thick and contoured for easy gripping and has a glass breaker rear end with a lanyard hole. A very nice knife, enjoyable to use.
