Solid, made to perfection not sharp. "Finger holes" are not exactly the same if you care.Comes with some kind of clearcoat sprayed finsh that isn't necessary-unless trying to prevent rust. Upon cleaning and waxing it will stay true.

I’m very impressed with the fixed fixed blade. The knife looks fantastic in person, and the green Micarta handle gives it a premium appearance. The fit and finish exceeded my expectations for the price point. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand, making it comfortable for extended use. The DC53 blade arrived sharp and inspires confidence for everyday cutting tasks. The handle provides a secure grip while still feeling comfortable and refined. The materials and overall construction make this knife feel like a much more expensive product. Overall, this is an excellent value, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality fixed blade.

When I ordered this product I was not expecting it to come in a sweet looking case. The knife it super durable although could be a bit more sharp. Size as shown. The sheath looks and feels good and the flint and steel does the job. Good value for the money. I would buy a sharpener for it though.

came fairly sharp. passed the paper test.
the factory polish was well done can almost read letter in its reflection
came with a very nice kydex sheath with carbon fiber outer plates and no rattle.
i think this would be best carried scout or pack

Good $$ value. A+ Garden knife. Manageable size and weight. I hang it vertically (cross-draw) on my belt and my suspenders clip (Dickies brand, "Perry" model) keeps the sheath from sliding to the front. The knife WT: apx. 8oz w sheath. NOTE: the "Kydex" part of the sheath works well, but the nylon belt strap snap attachements are not reliable. Blade came sharp enough. I do feel a bit more prepared now for the occasional bad dog / bad dude, or bear that have occasionally made appearances.

The blade is made of DC53 steel, which is typically used for kitchen knives and other soft-cutting situations (such as for fishing). That said, it's honestly not the best option for EDC or hunting knives simply because it's a softer metal. That means it's easy to sharpen, but also quicker to become dull. For instance, I tested the blade by pushing it into integrated and then performed the paper slicing test. Not only did it fail to easily slice the paper afterward, but it tore rather than cut. The metal is, however, corrosion-resistant. It can endure low to mid-toughness work, but the lack of hardness and edge retention limits its usefulness.

That said, for the price level, it's a good entry-level knife. I would use it for a weekend of camping, but not on an island where I had to survive for weeks. It's good for short-term use where resharpening is required.

I like the handle grip. There's a hardened integrated-like material, with hexagon shapes for the texturing. It fits my hand well and doesn't easily slide out, even when wet.

The sheath is of decent quality. It's a hard plastic that can hang from a belt or be strung on a backpack. (It will flop on the belt if a second strap isn't used.) The knife snugly seats into the sheath, but only snaps into place in one direction. If properly sheathed, the knife holds even when tipped upside down.

Overall, I would say you get a decent starter knife for the price. Good for teens learning to camp or fish. Best avoided for hunting and more rigorous activities.

Knife is in great condition, great durability, and has multiple uses. Can be used for everyday use or even great to have in craft and even survival situations. As a marine, as a cop, and as someone who loves being in Gods Creation I highly recommend for the quality for your money.

I recently acquired the Wildlance fixed for yard work, and I must say, it's a beast when it comes to chopping branches. The blade is impressively thick and sturdy, making quick work of any overgrown foliage. However, I found it to be a bit oversized for tasks like opening boxes due to its unconventional shape. While it may not resemble a traditional , its performance in the yard more than makes up for it. Overall, if you're looking for a reliable tool for heavy-duty outdoor tasks, this fixed is definitely worth considering.

I'm not sure what defines a fixed, but I definitely know it cuts like a demon. This Wildlance fixed is sharp! It has about an 8 steel blade. I've been using it to cut thick-stalked weeds, as well as small saplings and mesquite and it works like a charm.

This fixed feels very high quality. It has a full tang construction which is one sign of a well-made knife. While heavy, it is nicely balanced and comfortable in hand; one might say exceptionally ergonomic. It feels good to swing it.

The Wildlance fixed comes with a nice sheath. The sheath seems really heavy duty and durable and does a great job in protecting the fixed.

I am quite happy with my new fixed. It does what I need it to do and it does it very well indeed. Nice work, Wildlance, I'll certainly look to you for my future cutting implements needs!

This fixed is thick, heavy, sharp and comes in a really nice case. If I remove my big buckle, I can slide the case onto my belt and wear it on my hip. That makes me look really cool.

I like to have a knife when I go hunting and trail walking. I especially like to have something that, should I see a rattler, I can protect myself.

This fixed can be used in hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping.

The handle feels good in the hand and the overall length of the knife isn't too long - just right for small jobs. The materials all feel high quality.

Got the fixed in great shape, very well packaged. I did not expect this fixed to be so thick or heavy, the quality is very good, feels very premium. I had no issues fixed-ing down some thick branches on our tree that needed to be taken off before Spring comes around. It tackled the job very well, and was pretty fun I might say. Overall the quality for the price point is great, very well worth it.

Nice looking fixed but the real performance is disappointing.
Pros:
1. Good appearance. Feel solid on hand. The surface treatment is flawless.
2. Nice and comfortable grip.
3. Comes with a nice sheath

Cons:
1. The blade has two dents out of box, see Picture 4
2. Very sharp cutting edge. But first use to cut a wood block got the blade damaged, see Picture 5
3. The blade itself is a little bit too heavy. Do not have a good balance in hand.

I can't wait for my next camping trip this blade is nice and sharp and will handle managing the fire pit and campfire. It's so much nicer that the traditional type of fixed which were always rusting away

OMG this thing is the most robust knife of any sort I have ever held. The thing is solid, thick, heavy, feels like it will hack through just about anything. I cannot begin to tell you how well made this thing feels.

While I have only had it for a short time, everything about this scream's quality. I would need to put it some heavy use and try it out on something to give the true, final judgment. However, there is nothing whatsoever that I can find to say bad about this fixed.

I honestly can't believe how nice this is... I am not going to be going out into the jungle or anything, lol, but if this thing holds up I will for sure recommend this. I looked at the seller's page and they have a few other nice ones too!!!

For a short blade fixed, I doubt much would stand up to a blow from that heavy sharp blade. I was very surprised you could manufacture that sort of a powerful blade in so little space. Nice balanced grip. Have any need for this, buy it

This mini-fixed weighs in at 1 lb 10 oz (without the sheath). That's a nice weight for precise cuts. You're not going to cut a path through the rain forest with it and it does rattle a bit in its sheath, but it will work for me as a combination brush cutter and meat cleaver. The blade back is nearly 1/4 inch. The handle has a good grip, though I could see it wearing on an ungloved hand rather quickly. It's sharp out of the box--plenty sharp enough for its purposes. I am unfamiliar with this steel, so I cannot speak to oxidation resistance or edge-holding, but I'm impressed with what I see and for the price.

Overall, this feels like a solid knife. It is fairly sharp upon arrival, but I am not sure how long that will last with actual usage. It feels good in the hand, has a good weight and good balance. The handle is not my favorite as far as mold goes, but it is not terrible by any means.

The sheath feels very cheap, like it might break if you handle it roughly, but it does provide a few different options to carry the knife.

If this knife cost any more, I would say it is a no go, but at the price point I think it is a decent value. Although by spending a bit more you could probably do exponentially better.
