Model PK-02 from WILDLANCE is a pocket knife with above average performance at a budget price.HANDLE✔︎ I wasn’t so sure I’d like the metal “titanium” handle. Mostly because there wasn’t any obvious texturing to aid the grip, and the profile lacked ergonomics. However, I found that the streamline shape and deep finger groove worked remarkably well as anchors for the hand.✔︎ The only other feature found on the handle is the pocket clip. I have to admit that i have mixed feelings about pocket clips. Especially ones that have a build or placement that interferes with the quality of the grip. Fortunately that’s not the case here. For two reasons; the clip has a low profile (i.e. compatible build) and it’s installed low on the handle for tip-up carry (i.e. optimal placement). Bottom line, it’s a seamless combination that works for me.BLADE✔︎ The blade has a list of premium features. Generally speaking, the design and build complements the titanium metal handle. Both aesthetically and functionally.✔︎ Classic straight back profile. Versatile design for a range of applications.✔︎ Flipper tab with knurling to facilitate energy transfer from the finger.✔︎ The flipper mechanism deploys the blade with good speed.✔︎ Liner lock with jimping for precision. Easy to find and move using single handed techniques. Movement is smooth, with medium resistance.✔︎ Thumb ramp with knurling for precision cutting and to aid blade closing.✔︎ Cutting edge has been sharpened with uniform depth and angle. No sharpening blemishes like burrs or chips. Cutting edge is sharp, slicing through standard weight printing paper with ease.✔︎ The nail nick is actually a slotted hole. It’s small, but effective. There have been reports that the edges are sharp. There’s some truth to that, but not in a bad way. In fact, I found the edges promoted a precision grip.❗️The only missing feature on the blade are thumb studs. But it's possible they were excluded to maintain the streamline design.BUILD✔︎ The knife has been assembled with good precision. The alignment of the blade relative to the handle is true. All of the screws and mounting hardware is firmly seated.✔︎ Movement at the pivot is smooth. This contributes to the rapid blade deployment when using the flipper.✔︎ The knife that I received was free of any issues involving the standoffs. In fact, the blade is at least 2-3mm away from the rear standoffs. As long as the hardware remains intact, there’s little chance that the blade will make contact with the standoffs, cause damage at the cutting edge.✔︎ I do not see any evidence of design or fabrication flaws that deviate from the intended spec.👍 RECOMMENDATION 👍My overall impression of this pocket knife is very favorable. It has a unique design, a versatile blade, and a durable build that should last. At the time of order, this Model PK-02 from WILDLANCE was selling for a penny shy of $20.00. That’s a good value for a pocket knife with above average performance. If you’re looking for a pocket knife with a novel all-metal design, I’m happy to recommend this model PK-02 from WILDLANCE with a 5-star recommendation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good knife. Very good smooth action with the ceramic bushings. It states 'Titanium' I seriously question that. Knife is heavier than any titanium I am familiar with, I believe it is titanium coated - that is a BIG difference from real titanium and this knife is to the heavy side - No titanium I ever handled before. It is a good knife for the price - Black Friday $20. I would definitely buy again. Well made / smooth action through out. Not crazy about knives that lock like this I am more for a lock back. Extremely sharp. Its a good knife / nice to look at
Good
Great price point for a Titanium handle knife! It feels good in my hand but I like a knife with a metal handle. It's sharp, seems well built. Time will tell if it holds up but for now it's on my dresser for an EDC.
.
good one
Excellent job. Shipped quickly and was extremely sharp.
Another great knife from Wildlance, I like the titanium and think blade! D2 is nice!
Excellent product for the price. No disappointments or problems at all.
Great knife. Beautiful. Comfortable handle. Ordinary, not fashionable, but functional blade steel. Gorgeous titanium handle
cool
Very nice!
The product is very good. There was a problem with the bearing.
Feels great in the hand and is pretty smooth! I would Recommend this knife to anyone!
Great bang for the buck. Nice flipping action, no blade play or lock . And it’s titanium for a low price
I like it because the design is nice. Not a fan of the pocket clip. But it’s a good value for the price !
Muy bueno
Very impressed with the Aurex, it’s a great value for what you get, a nice D2 blade with a very nice and satisfying action!
I absolutely love this knife. It hasn't left my pocket since it arrived. I actually bought two, one for myself and one for a coworker as a gift. The fit and finish are excellent and compared to a $200 knife that is very similar I don't notice any major differences beyond fancy finishes and different steels. Overall I'd highly recommend this knife to anyone who loves a good flipper!!
Fast delivery, good price and a fine knife
Great knife at a great price!
Excellent knife. Easy to hold, stable, smooth pivot action.
I loved this knife it was the best think since sliced bread 1000% recommend
Really nice clean design.
It’s sharp, it’s sleek, it’s beautiful.
I’ve been using it daily since i bought it. The quality you get at this price is hard to beat.
The knife I received is in pristine condition with no scratches or other blemishes of any kind. My knife opens and closes freely, with the locking mechanism engaging correctly. In the closed position, my blade's edge is not in contact with any part of the handle or standoffs. The published measurements are accurate except for the blade. Even at its thickest point, at the swivel, it is 3.6mm thick, not the stated 4.8mm. My knife weighs 114g (4.0 ounces), but I knew this wasn't going to be a lightweight, since the handles are titanium and the listing does provide a nominal weight as well. This wasn't very sharp when it arrived but it did accept sharpening rather well. I have no way of really testing but everything does point to this being made of D2 steel. For me anyway, this will be a beater knife that I use for work in the shop. I am not going to deliberately abuse it, but it will not be coddled. Based on what I received, I think the asking price is fair.
This review is for the WILDLANCE brand ‘3.2” D2 Steel Blade Titanium Handle Small Pocket Knife For Men”, PK-02.This knife has some decent heft to it. It doesn’t weigh so much that it feels awkward, but it is far better than the super lightweight low quality pocket knives you can get for a few dollars. The handle has a nice sort of matte feel to it, which should help keep your grip on it in damp conditions...a good thing, since the handle has no finger indentations or anything else for grip other than the belt clip. The blade is nice and thick, and has a good general purpose curve to it. It is as sharp as pocket knives generally are when you first get them, i.e.: not particularly, but enough to accidentally cut yourself if you aren’t careful.Opening it is easy. It is well balanced, so you can open it with a single sharp flick using the thumb stud, or you can use the somewhat-awkward slot on the top of the blade. It uses a typical liner lock, which functions properly and exactly as you’d expect.Overall, this is a nice knife, even at $20. I’m actually surprised by how much I like it; it’s going into my EDC rotation. Five stars.
