Uncompromising Performance: Premium DC53 & Tanto Profile

Forged from premium DC53 die steel and professionally heat-treated to an optimal HRC 58-60, this fixed blade delivers exceptional sharpness retention and extreme toughness. The distinctive tanto profile features a reinforced, angular tip that excels at piercing hard materials with absolute precision. Its exceptionally strong point provides superior durability during demanding tasks like prying or puncturing, while the remarkably straight main edge is perfectly optimized for controlled slicing and rigorous utility work.

Very pleasing aesthetic design, sheath has great retention

I thought this was a really cool looking knife; it’s styled like a mini katana with elements of a scalpel and I’m a big fan of the aesthetics. I was happy to see it’s also a very solid knife, it’s heavy and weighty which makes it feel good in the hand. It is extremely thick though, particularly the handle but the blade as well, which is a little odd, but it’s forged quite well and seems to have some kind of coating applied to the entire knife. The blade comes to a nice point although it wasn’t particularly sharp out of the box, so I’ll have to sharpen it a bit. The sheath is a perfect fit for the knife and has good retention, holding the knife securely even when shaking it upside down. It’s still easy to draw though, and I think the sheath is excellent overall, with only the clip being a sore point as it’s not very strong or springy. The handle seems designed to be wrapped in cord, which is most likely what I’ll do. I found the blade to be fairly comparable to Cold Steel’s Drop Forged series, with the note that the Cold Steel blades aren’t as bulky or thick. Overall, the knife isn’t a bad value for the craftsmanship and design, quality sheath and steel and I think it’s a viable alternative to the Cold Steel Drop Forged series.

Nice Quality.

I was impressed with the weight of this knife. It is a working knife that on initial inspection looks like it could take a beating. We'll see. I'm not a huge fan of Tanto style blades, but I do own a few that I carry when I know at work the task requires something a little tougher than my usual drop point EDC. The sheath clicks nicely. Not an easy knife to conceal in my opinion, but one that could definitely find it's home in your bug out bag or center consul in your vehicle.

Sweet blade! Beefy, stout, robust... But slicey too! Well over 1/4" thick with a fantastic kydex. Nicely constructed and manufactured to tight tolerances... Aggressive look and ready for hard use!

It is a super chopper, very robust with excellent sharpness right out of the box. It is so well crafted that it could easily be an all purpose camp knife. Very versatile!

It has a full tang making it feel very sturdy. The sheath is okay. The knife has an attractive design, overall, but it's probably not holding a candle in the end to something from Leatherman, or Smith and Wesson.

I got this to carry on my belt when hiking. It's small enough it's not cumbersome but big enough to be useful.

The blade tang runs all the way through the handle. It feels very sturdy. The handle.is well shaped and comfortable on my hand.

The sheath is thick Kydex. It's comfortable to wear and looks nice. It holds the knife securely.

?? Wildlance | Full Tang Camping Knife, Fixed
Blade Survival Knife with Sheath and Handle for Outdoor,
EDC, Hunting

? The Knife:
? This is an excellent quality fixed blade knife and made
from high quality DC53 stainless steel with a hardness of
58 HR. It's Heat treated and boasts a Titanium coating
that helps to prevent oxidation. It 's also likely to hold a
good edge for a long time.

? It's constructed with a full tang making it stronger and
more durable, than without one. A full tang blade will
definitely feel a lot more solid within your grip. This is
quality and inexpensive product, indeed.

? Design:
? The blade design was the thing caught my attention,
I really am a fan of this style, no doubt. Great looks
with functionality is a bonus.

? The Grip is more than comfortable and it fits perfectly
in my hand. Absolutely, one of the better handles that
I've owned or have seen. My hand doesn't slide at all, let
alone move, or teeter in any way. Great grip design.

? The Sheath:
? The sheath is actually decent, it made well w/ quality
Kydex materials plus it has a small pocket built-in on the
front that would accommodate a small sharpening stone
perfectly, for example.

? However, I do feel that the sheath doesn't really suit
this style of blade and knife as well as it should or could
have. various points of the blade tends to get caught
up on it sometimes. Still it does work and it covers the
blade, as it should.

? Price at Time of Review: $19.99

? Dislikes / Issues:
? The only real issues that I have is w/ the sheath itself.
The blade sometimes gets caught on the sheath when
it's being it remove and when the blade is reinserted
into the sheath.

? The snap strap can be somewhat fussy and awkward
to re-snap it due to the way it's made.

?? OVER-ALL:
? I really like this knife a lot. It's built well and it's made
out of good quality materials. It has a full tang making
it a strong and reliable knife. Plus the blade design looks
absolutely fantastic. I am more than happy to add it to
my collection. It's a cool knife, for a great price.

? It's definitely one to check out! I would Recommend it,
no doubt. ~ Be Safe, Have Fun, Enjoy Life!

In my mind I imagine this a little bit bigger, I would have preferred the handle to be a little bit larger than it was and sacrifice to blade overall length but all in all it's well made and seems very solid I have used it quite a bit and it came sharp in the box.

Good solid knife!! I like the feel and grip in my hand and it feels like that safe sturdy fell that wont slip on you. Very sharp also!! I like the case it comes with also.

I carry this with me every time I am camping and hunting!

This is an incredible camping knife. The blade is sharp right out of the box, and the handle design makes it very comfortable to hold. It comes with a nice quality Kydex sheath. I have not used the multi tool stuff on it, but as just a Knife its been great. I keep it in my truck whenever I head out.

This is a great knife for camping uses. It??s razor sharp out of the box, and strong enough to endure hard usage like chopping thinner branches of wood. A hammer (or something similar) can be used to drive the blade through a piece of wood once it the cut has been started, and it will handle the job.

The shape of the handle does provide a good, comfortable grip, but the width of it feels a bit thin for the knife. Almost like it could rotate in my hand under the wrong circumstances. The blade is large; that is undeniable. And the entire piece is durable as can be. The bottle opener works great. And I??ve been using a Work Sharp Field Sharpener to maintain the blade and the edge. If you sit and hone the blade long enough, you??ll have a razor sharp edge that cuts through hair.

The sheath is okay. It serves its purpose and holds the knife very well, but I really don??t wear it. I just carry the knife and sheath, and use it around the campsite as needed. The rounded extrusions on the bottom of the knife tend to get stuck on the sheath, which can be frustrating. I just exercise patience with it.

Overall though, this is a great knife, and it works perfect for my intended purposes. It really is a good looking piece, as well. For the price, you??re getting a quality piece of equipment that will last if you take care of it.

Pictures forthcoming. The seam for the two types of metal is visible throughout the tang and halfway up the back of the blade and I can almost get a fingernail into it. As such, I have no confidence in the blade as I fear it could break apart while using it for basic tasks. Sad thing is it looks nice, too.

This full tang fixed blade survival knife can basically be used for multiple types of situations. Of course, it cuts stuff, but the handle can be used as a glass break, it opens bottles and has an ergonomic handle with finger grooves for more comfort and control. I like that the grip includes an additional grip spot for the thumb for more control which you might need if you're cutting wood or don't need because your cutting rope. The blade is thick but not as heavy as I thought it would be given it is a full tang blade.

The sheath seems well made and includes a rope/ lanyard or tie down. It also has 2 individual belt loops that each have a snap button and Velcro inside to keep them closed and in place. The front of the sheath has an additional pocket that is also closed with a Velcro strip and can be used to store a smaller sharpening stone.

This is a great tool. One solid piece of 3.5mm steel with a kydex grip. Has a good weight to it, the grip is comfortable. The sheath has reinforced belt loops, with 2 types of securing methods for redundancies. It secures around the belt with velcro and a metal clasp and has 2 separate belt loops side by side. Feels like a durable sheath. All around this is a great option for those that hike, fish or do any outdoor activities. This is now my new favorite and would recommend.
