Uncompromising Performance: Premium DC53 & Clip Point

Forged for demanding outdoor environments, the precision clip-point blade is crafted from premium DC53 die steel and professionally heat-treated to HRC 58-60, delivering exceptional sharpness retention, durability, and rust resistance. The finely controlled point makes it effective for detailed piercing, while the generous sweeping belly provides a long, curved cutting edge that excels at precise slicing. Finished with a rugged dark stonewash, this blade effectively hides wear from heavy use, bridging the gap between a striking modern design and a hard-working outdoor utility powerhouse.

Ergonomic Control: Textured G10 Grip

Built to withstand harsh and wet conditions, the handle is engineered from durable, corrosion-resistant G10 material. The contoured, ergonomic design deeply enhances the functional grip, providing absolute palm comfort and steady, slip-resistant control. This robust construction is specifically designed to reduce hand fatigue during extended cutting tasks, perfectly balancing rugged wilderness capability with a clean, professional aesthetic.

Secure & Versatile Carry: Custom Kydex Sheath

Designed for absolute outdoor preparedness, this fixed blade comes paired with a highly durable, custom-molded Kydex sheath. Outfitted with a secure multi-carry clip, it allows for safe storage and rapid, reliable access across various carry positions. It is an essential everyday carry (EDC) companion for campers, hikers, and explorers who demand maximum utility and dependable hardware.

Well executed, sharp & distinct looking small(er) fixed blade knife with a “meh” sheath.

This knife comes in some rather basic but sturdy, proper and branded packaging. It’s definitely giftable.Chinese budget fixed blade knives are a dime a dozen these days, though their overall quality has really improved in the past few years. I’ve been impressed with a number of them, including this one. There are several features which made this particular knife stand out, causing me to order it. The Persian style up-curve profile of the blade is quite attractive and slicey, and the dual edge grind looks cool too. I also liked the thumb landing area on the spine, including some effective jimping for increased control. Another cool feature is how the blade and handle design provide a kind of a “bolster guard” to keep your fingers from accidentally sliding onto the edge.Speaking of the edge, it came looking a bit imperfect but also sharp as heck, slicing through paper like a laser! I was really impressed by the sharpness and the cutting/slicing prowess of this blade! The blade steel is advertised at DC53, which is a decent improvement over the D2 steel that you typically see on knives like this. However, the manufacturer’s advertised Rockwell hardness range is a bit low, sitting at 58-60 HRC. This means that the edge retention will be less than optimal, while the blade will be a bit tougher and less brittle. You generally see lower HRC on knives designed for self-defense. Only time will tell how this blade will perform in the long run. By the way, the “blackwash” finish on the steel is competent if unremarkable, as you would expect. This knife features a robust full tang construction, with the tang covered with contoured, perfectly shaped, G10 scales to form a very ergonomic handle. I find this knife to be very comfortable to handle and wield, whether I use the standard or reverse grip. My only ergonomic gripe is that the G10 scales are a bit too smooth. I can see them getting slippery when using the knife without gloves in wet conditions. I would have preferred a grippier surface texture. The included Kydex sheath fits well and features solid, properly tuned blade retention. However, it’s very compact, thin and flexible, and definitely doesn’t inspire confidence when it comes holding up for hard and/or extended use. It does feel a bit too flimsy. Speaking of flimsy, the included thin stamped steel belt clip inspires even less confidence. Luckily, I’ve had a number of “Tek-Lok” style clips laying around and easily mounted one of those. The knife’s relatively compact and light profile makes it fairly easy to carry for a big guy like me.Overall, I really like a lot of things about this knife. I just wish that the blade Rockwell hardness was higher and that it came with a sturdier sheath and clip.

Heavy Handle & Sharp Blade

This fixed blade knife is exactly what my husband needed for all his hunting needs. The handle is solid, heavy and well balanced and the blade is super sharp with a keen edge. The knife feels great in your hand and does exactly what it is designed to do, cut! It slides into the sheath easily and clips securely to your coverall or pants pocket, so there is no worry about losing it. If you hunt, fish, camp or just like to have a sharp knife on hand, this is a great one!

Hits above the price point.

This design hits my dopamine center. The dual grind is awesome. The feel in hand makes my cold withered heart happy. I was surprised, no shocked at this blade. Very, very nice. My $.02

This affordable knife has a lot to offer. First, the DC53 steel has similar edge retention to D2, but much more toughness. A portion of the spine has been filed crisp to use with the included ferro rod. The full tang construction is sturdy enough to baton and for other hard use. With some minor modifications to the sheath it would be a perfect five star knife at this price point.

Wildlance fixed DC53 This is a stunning piece. It's comfortable and well-balanced, and pretty light weight too. The blade and handle with the shaping and ergonomics enable various grip types and carry options. Features a full-tang DC53 steel blade. Apparently this is like a D2 on steroids lol! good edge retention, and a titanium nitride coating. Just a lovely lovely blade. Durable. Extremely sharp. Great shape and lovely grind and swedge on it. Sheath and accessories. Very impressive Kydex sheath that offers good retention and a removable drop loop for customization. It also includes a working fire steel. Looks good and is good. Lovely mix of the kydex and leather belt loop. It's looks so well made and it is. I reckon you get a premium knife, sheath and kit at a great price. So much knife and kit. It's suitable for a wide range of tasks, from everyday carry and camping to more demanding survival situations. Even a tactical role. I love it! I've found another fantastic knife maker. Some stunning pieces. I've been lucky enough to now own a few. Very impressed and pleased.

Quite a solid offering for the price — excellent ergos, good F&F, solid full tang design, integrated ferro rod — while I haven’t had much opportunity to test the performance, it feels confident in hand. Here’s a review I did on it:

Nice so far. The only thing I see so far Is the retaining system for the Ferrell rod is bad. It will easily be lost without strapping it in somehow.

Great ergonomic grip with g10 for non slip. Shaved some tinder and it was still sharp enough for other projects. Sparking fire with the rod against the top portion of the blade was simple too. Practical and dependable knife for camping.

I absolutely love this Knife and it's good looking, as well! The only thing I'd look to change, is how the feral rod is positioned, so it's more secure. Overall, this is literally the best Fixed Blade that I own! ??

This is one stout fixed blade! I'm not really a fixed blade guy normally, but it's got so many utilitarian features and is built so well, Im super happy I own one now.

I did an unboxing showing of the fixed which I shared on my YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok accounts followed by a full, long form video review (attached).
I enjoyed doing it, I also enjoyed the knife a great deal. The ergonomics of the handles are superb and the choice of G10 over injection molded FRN’s adds to overall comfort. It’s also got no hot spots on the handles or along the tang for a great feel in hand.
I am not familiar with the steel (DC 53) but have educated myself on it since getting the knife. I think it’s got tremendous crafting potential and I plan to do an even long, hard use review. It’s got some tactical applications.
My only small critiques are personal preferences rather than cons. Since it’s geared more toward crafting, a simpler drop point might serve the function of the knife better and the Kydex sheath could use a thumb ramp for easier deployment.
Overall 7.5 out of 10
